DAZN, one of Europe’s major sports subscription broadcasters and global sports streaming platform, and TP Vision, licensee of the Philips brand for TV & Sound, have kicked off a new partnership that will see the parties initiate joint activities in 2022 and 2023 in Germany, Italy and Spain, that are designed to deliver a truly immersive sport streaming experience by combining the content of DAZN with Philips TV and Sound products featuring Ambilight.
The partnership coincides with Philips TV’s debut of a further enhanced version of the unique ambient lighting technology with Ambilight Next Generation. It provides a more sophisticated and accurate version of the ambient lighting technology that projects coloured light on to the wall behind the set and is designed to more precisely match the on-screen images. Fast paced content, such as sports, hugely benefit from this new technology. Bringing viewers closer than ever before to all the action on the screen.
DAZN delivers fans the best live football action. Only on DAZN can fans get the Bundesliga and UEFA Champions League, UEFA Women’s Champions League as well as LaLiga, Serie A, Ligue 1 and other top international leagues and competitions, all in one place. In addition, DAZN offers the largest selection of sports outside of football, including NFL, NBA, UFC, darts, MotoGP, handball, and more – more than 100 live events per week and over 8,000 live sports broadcasts per year, all via DAZN’s best in class app.

This partnership will be kicked off with a bundle promotion and campaign “Erlebe Sport mit Ambilight TV” in Germany. The promotion enables new Philips Ambilight TV owners to get DAZN subscription in bundle with their recent purchase. Consumers that bought an Ambilight TV from the 2021/2022 range in the period from September 2022 until the end of this year, at one of the key retailers throughout Germany, can also claim a 2 months DAZN gift voucher by registering their new Ambilight TV.
