Philips Ambilight TV presents premium 2026 models at IFA
Berlin, September 3, 2026
EISA-winning OLED+951 and OLED811 lead an upper-tier selection spanning OLED+, OLED, RGB Mini-LED and QLED, up to the 100-inch PQS9001 – the world’s largest Ambilight TV.
TP Vision is bringing together the premium end of its 2026 Philips Ambilight TV line-up at IFA in Berlin, giving media and trade visitors the opportunity to experience six key series in one place.
From flagship OLED+ models with integrated premium sound to OLED, the first Philips RGB Mini-LED TV and QLED models up to 100 inches, the showcase demonstrates the breadth of the Philips Ambilight TV portfolio at the upper end of the market.
All six featured series include Ambilight with AmbiScape, extending the Ambilight experience to up to four compatible smart lights. The range also brings the latest developments in picture processing, HDR, gaming and Smart TV performance, including Dolby Vision 2 across selected models.
OLED+951 – flagship performance with EISA recognition
Available in 65- and 77-inch screen sizes, the OLED+951 is the flagship of the 2026 Philips Ambilight TV OLED+ range.
It combines the 10th Gen P5 AI Dual Engine with a META 4.0 Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 WOLED panel, supporting VRR up to 165Hz and Dolby Vision 2 Max. More precise AI HDR tone mapping is complemented by peak light output of up to 4,500 nits and ultra-low reflection technology, helping to retain picture detail and accurate colour reproduction in bright viewing conditions.
Four-sided Ambilight with AmbiScape, four HDMI 2.1 ports and an integrated 70W 2.2-channel sound system complete the specification.
The 65OLED+951 has been named EISA Best Premium OLED TV 2026–2027.
OLED+911 – OLED performance with Bowers & Wilkins sound
Winner of a Red Dot Product Design Award 2026, the OLED+911 is available in 48-, 55-, 65- and 77-inch screen sizes.
It combines the 10th Gen P5 AI Engine with a META 4.0 Primary RGB Tandem 2.0 WOLED panel, VRR up to 165Hz and Dolby Vision 2 Max.
Following Philips TV’s De-Tech design principle, clean, rounded forms and dark-grey acoustic fabric seamlessly integrate the front-facing Bowers & Wilkins 3.1-channel sound system below the screen. The 81W system features dedicated left, centre and right channels together with a rear bass enclosure and provision for an external subwoofer.
Four-sided Ambilight with AmbiScape and four HDMI 2.1 ports complete the specification.
OLED811 – EISA-winning OLED performance and 10th Gen P5 AI processing
The OLED811 is available in 42-, 48-, 55-, 65- and 77-inch screen sizes, with the 55-, 65- and 77-inch models featuring higher-output OLED_EX panels.
The series combines the 10th Gen P5 AI Engine with Dolby Vision 2 Max and supports refresh rates of up to 165Hz with VRR.
Three-sided Ambilight with AmbiScape is complemented by an integrated 70W 2.2-channel sound system, with a 50W system on the 42-inch model. Models from 42 to 65 inches also feature a swivel stand.
The 55OLED811 has received the EISA Best Buy OLED TV 2026–2027 award.
OLED761 – an accessible entry into OLED Ambilight
Available in 55-, 65- and 77-inch screen sizes, the OLED761 brings the combination of OLED picture quality and Ambilight to a broader audience.
The series uses an OLED_SE panel together with the 7th Gen P5 AI Engine and includes three-sided Ambilight with AmbiScape, HDR10+ Gaming, FreeSync Premium and G-Sync compatibility.
IntelliSound automatically adapts the sound profile to the type of content being watched, while the 77-inch model adds an integrated 2.2-channel sound system.
MLED981 – Philips Ambilight TV enters RGB Mini-LED
The 85-inch MLED981 marks Philips TV’s first entry into RGB Mini-LED technology and expands the premium Ambilight TV proposition into the growing XXL screen category.
Its RGB Mini-LED backlight incorporates 11,520 RGB zones and is specified for peak light output of up to 2,500 nits, with an emphasis on precise backlight control to reduce haloing and motion artefacts.
The MLED981 combines the 10th Gen P5 AI Engine with Dolby Vision 2 Max and delivers 97% BT.2020 wide-colour-gamut coverage.
For gaming, the 165Hz panel supports VRR and FreeSync Premium Pro, together with four HDMI 2.1 ports. Three-sided Ambilight with AmbiScape and an integrated 70W 4.1-channel sound system complete the specification.
PQS9001 – The One expands to 100 inches
The PQS9001 QLED series extends the popular Philips Ambilight TV The One proposition across seven screen sizes: 43, 50, 55, 65, 75, 85 and 100 inches.
At 100 inches, the PQS9001 becomes the world’s largest Ambilight TV, bringing the Ambilight experience to an XXL screen for immersive movies, sport and gaming.
The series combines the 7th Gen P5 Engine with Dolby Vision 2, three-sided Ambilight with AmbiScape, HDR10+ Gaming and IntelliSound. A slimmer single-step rear profile also reduces the overall depth of the TV.
Core screen sizes have been available since June 2026, with the 85- and 100-inch models planned from October 2026, depending on country.
