TP Vision forms a strategic alliance with Titan OS

  • Titan OS S.L. is a European company that has developed an independent operating system to give manufacturers the option of offering a more customized Smart TV platform – including offering both the major global streaming options plus a wider choice of local content.
  • The new Titan operating system – Titan OS – will be first launched through a global strategic partnership with TP Vision and will initially feature on two Philips branded 2024 models – the PML9009 and the PUS8909.
  • Titan OS S.L. has also entered into a strategic partnership with Currys, the leading technology retail in UK & Nordics. As part of the partnership Currys will launch the operating system on own brand JVC TVs and collaborate on retail media, a first-of its-kind alliance within the UK market.
  • The Titan operating system includes cutting-edge advertising solutions, managed by Titan Advertising, to enable TV manufacturers to extend their business beyond hardware, opening the opportunity to generate continuous revenue streams for the 40% of the TV market that lacks its own operating system (GFK Data 2022).

Titan OS S.L. (Titan OS), a technology, entertainment, and advertising company, announced the launch of its operations and the introduction of an independent European operating system for smart TVs, while debuting its Titan advertising division.

Titan OS S.L. has formed a strategic alliance with TP Vision, having already enjoyed an exclusive partnership for the company’s Linux-based TVs, and is set to be offered on selected Philips and AOC TVs in Europe and Latin America. The new operating system will initially feature on two mid-range models, the PML9009 mini-led set and the PUS8909 premium LED model, both to be launched in the first half of 2024.

Founded by experienced industry executives from European and American leading entertainment, media, and investment sectors, including renowned industry experts from Disney, Roku, Rakuten TV, and KKR. Titan OS S.L. established Barcelona as its headquarters, while expanding its global presence with additional offices in Amsterdam
and Taipei.
