Philips TV & Sound partners with First Day Of Spring to support the Dutch Dance Quiz

Three quiz nights to celebrate 30 years of Dutch dance history

Amsterdam, October 13th, 2020 – Philips TV & Sound have teamed with First Day of Spring to partner in the Dutch Dance Quiz, a music-infused TV format designed to celebrate Dutch dance history.

Running over three nights – October 17th, 24th and 31st – and presented by Vivienne van den Assem and dance expert Arne van Terphoven, the Dutch Dance Quiz will take viewers down memory lane, on a trip celebrating more than 30 years of Dutch dance history.

Rich dance culture

It’s a sad but understandable fact that all dance events and festivals have been canceled this year. This offers us the opportunity to pay tribute to our rich Dutch dance culture.

The Dutch Dance Quiz enables us to celebrate more than 30 years of Dutch dance history. In three episodes dance fans will be treated to a host of unexpected questions, unique anecdotes and archive material that was never shown before. So what examples are covered? Think about the Roxy, iT, Parkzicht, singing along with 2 Unlimited, raving at Thunderdome and the world that submits to our amazing Dutch DJs. With some of them addressing the viewer directly including: Erick E, Chuckie, Martin Garrix and Joris Voorn.

Testing your knowledge

From the green room a DJ panel will participate live in the show, including Dano, The Darkraver, Roog, Michel de Hey, Julian Jordan, Reinier Zonneveld, Boris Werner, Luuk van Dijk and dance lover Geraldine Kemper.
