The H8000E is a new high-quality wireless, hybrid adaptive ANC, over-ear headphone with a lightweight, folding design, available in black or white and offering a premium performance for a mid-range price.
Sound quality is excellent thanks to bespoke, Philips Audio designed 40 mm drivers featuring a unique driver construction combining a ceramic coated diaphragm with a woven silk suspension.
The addition of the ceramic coating significantly increases the rigidity of the diaphragm without a corresponding increase in mass, while internal damping is also excellent.

The result is a very linear performance with a fast transient response and lower distortion, especially at higher frequencies, resulting in better detail and spatial reproduction

The tightly woven fabric suspension has excellent linear displacement, flexibility and excursion. The material also offers good internal damping to effectively absorb residual, mid-frequency energy. The overall effect is of a cleaner, more transparent sound reproduction, especially at low frequency, with an impactful, tight bass response.

Hi-Res audio playback is available, either wireless via LDAC compatibility or wired via the 3.5mm jack.

The H8000E also offers AAC & LC3 compatibility plus the option – via the Philips Headphone App – of Spatial Audio for a more immersive sound.
Wireless connectivity is via Bluetooth 5.4 with the H8000E also offering Multipoint and Auracast functionality. Fast and easy connection is offered via Google Fast Pair and Windows Swift Pair features.
The H8000E includes five mics and five levels of Adaptive ANC – selected via the Philips Headphone App. Three mics are used for calls and offer an AI based noise reduction algorithm – with highly effective wind noise reduction – to ensure superb call quality even in noisy environments.
Battery life is excellent with 50 hours playback with ANC on (70 hours ANC off) and a rapid charge facility that gives eight hours of playback in just 10 minutes.
As with all Philips Audio products, sustainability plays a key role in the design of the H8000E with both the integral batteries and the detachable ear pads and headband being easily consumer replaceable.
The construction of the H8000E includes a significant percentage of RCS-certified recycled plastics while the packaging FCS Certified and is plastics free.
