Wired or wireless, the Fidelio turntable and speakers always deliver exceptional stereo sound
Eindhoven, September 17th, 2025
- Both the Fidelio FT1 turntable and FA3 active wireless speakers will be available in the first quarter 2026 and can be either purchased separately or used together as a high-quality system.
- The FT1 is a high quality 2 speed, belt-driven turntable that includes a front mounted tray loading CD Player
- High quality materials are used throughout the FT1 including a substantial aluminium diecast platter, extruded, counterweighted, aluminium straight, tonearm and replaceable Audio Technica MM cartridge.
- The compact FA3 wireless active speakers each feature bi-amplification and an active crossover for precise delivery of 2 x 50W RMS power into a 5” glass fibre bass/mid driver and a 1” titanium tweeter.
- Both products offer either wired or easy wireless connectivity including Bluetooth 5.4 and Auracast.
- Sustainability plays a key role, with both Fidelio products featuring a significant percentage of RCS-certified recycled plastic and plastic free packaging made from FSC-certified recycled cardboard.
Philips Fidelio will make a welcome return to the home hi-fi market in 2026 with the launch of two new premium affordable components – the FT1 turntable and FA3 wireless active speakers.
The new components can be purchased separately as an upgrade to an existing system but have also been designed to perfectly complement each other in a complete Fidelio system – with the FT1 offering both vinyl playback plus the added flexibility of a front-loading CD player.
Philips Fidelio FT1 – Bluetooth enabled turntable/CD player
The FT1 matches high quality materials with the flexibility to choose between wireless or wired connectivity and vinyl or CD playback.
The heavy duty, die-cast aluminium platter and rubber slip mat combine to reduce vibration and ensure superb clarity. The extruded aluminium tone arm features an adjustable counterweight and replaceable Audio-Technica MM stylus to ensure accurate tracking of the grooves with an auto-stop function pausing the turntable when a side has been played.
The minimalistic design of the FT1 will look great in any space, whether with or without the turntable’s removable dustcover. A dimmable LED display shows key information including source and volume level, and a clock is displayed when the FT1 is in standby.
The FT1 can easily be made part of a traditional hi-fi setup, via a wired RCA connection from the onboard phono stage to the line-level input on an amplifier. The FT1 also features a 3.5 mm headphone connection for more private listening.
Alternatively, the FT1 will quickly pair with wireless speakers or headphones via Bluetooth 5.4 with the option of LC3 codec compatibility for high quality audio. The FT1 can also broadcast vinyl or CD playback to compatible speakers via Auracast.
The FT1 includes both physical controls for source selection including Bluetooth, Auracast and CD playback, or the choice of smart controls, via the Philips Entertainment app including a virtual remote control and source selection.
Philips Fidelio: FA3 wireless active stereo loudspeakers
Whether used in a Fidelio based system with the FT1, as part of a traditional separates hi-fi system or connected to a portable device via streamed or wired connection the FA3 always produces a genuine expansive stereo soundstage with deep, well-controlled bass, clear midrange, and smooth, detailed highs.
Each speaker is bi-amped with a power rating of 50 W RMS, and with precise power delivery – to a 1” titanium tweeter and a 5” glass fibre bass/mid driver – via an integrated active crossover to guarantee accurate timing and dynamics.
The FA3 has a full suite of connections for wired sources including a USB-C port, RCA AUX-in, optical input, and HDMI ARC – to enhance the sound of your TV.
Wireless connectivity includes Bluetooth 5.4 with support for LDAC and LC3 codecs to allow hi-res streaming, while Auracast allows the FA3 to be part of a multi-speaker setup.
The FA3 can be operated via the supplied remote control or by the Philips Entertainment App.
A piano-black finish adds a touch of elegance with rounded magnetic speaker grilles – featuring acoustically transparent fabric – that allow unhindered performance when in place or that can be easily removed.
