Amsterdam, 24th April, 2013 –TP Vision announces its all-new Philips Studio range of Hospitality TVs specifically designed for hotels and healthcare organisations.

The Philips Studio LED TVs offer great value in a modern design and come with advanced hotel features, ensuring both high satisfaction from guests and low total cost of ownership. Spanning screen sizes from 48cm (19’’) up to 99cm (39’’), the new Philips Studio Hospitality TV range fits rooms of all sizes. The Studio range is Philips Hospitality TV’s first to be announced in 2013 and will be available in Europe and Russia in the second quarter of 2013.

Great picture quality, low power consumption
The Philips Studio Hospitality TV range builds on TP Vision’s know-how in designing and manufacturing Philips consumer TVs. It uses advanced LED backlighting technology to combine modern looks with great picture quality by offering high brightness, rich contrast and vibrant colours. The Studio TVs also offer low power consumption, which can save significant amounts of running costs compared to traditional LCD screens.

Enhancing guest comfort
The Philips Studio range TVs offer a variety of interfaces and ports, including USB and HDMI, to allow guests to connect their personal devices seamlessly to the TV. They also can plug a memory stick, digital camera or MP3 player into the USB port to enjoy their own photos, videos and music on TV. For ease of use, the Studio Hospitality TVs feature on-screen multimedia browsers and have easily reachable USB ports mounted on their sides.

Cost-saving features and applications
USB cloning significantly reduces installation time and costs. It also ensures the consistent setup of all TVs in a hotel or hospital by allowing all settings to be copied in less than a minute per TV. Installation menu locking prevents unauthorized access to installation and configuration settings, ensures maximum guest convenience and reduces maintenance costs. Volume limitation predefines the TVs’ maximum volume to prevent other guests or fellow patients from being disturbed.
