TP Vision, a leading multinational consumer electronics company, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Key Account Manager to join our growing Audio & Headphones team in Europe. In this exciting role, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales and building strategic partnerships with our key retail and distribution partners.

Scope
  • The Commercial manager and IKAM control has a regional (European) reach and the job is located in the Netherlands (Amsterdam). The main categories are Audio, Video, Headphones and Accessories. New business, channel and/or product categories for expansion might be developed as additional business opportunities.
Responsibility
  • You develop strategic account plans. Manage the joint business plans (JBP’s) with the national Key Account managers (KAM’s) and International Key Account managers (IKAM’s), to achieve ambitious sales plans for the next 6 quarters for our Audio & Headphones product portfolio.
  • Develop a European Commercial policy based on a ‘pay-for-performance’ basis and objective criteria.
  • You bridge the business need and finance support and control on;
    • Provision and commitment control
    • Rebate, aging stock and service provision release follow up
  • You manage the overall Business intelligence on:
    • Country profitability
    • Customer profitability
    • Product profitability
    • Promotional and marketing (ROI) return on investment
  • You review, monitor and help control cost of Key Accounts on:
    • Market development funds
    • Other Fixed Selling Expenses (OFSE)
  • You conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify sales opportunities and develop winning sales strategies.
  • You support KAM’s in negotiate pricing, contracts, and promotional programs to ensure sell-out of the products of our retail and distribution partners based on mutual profitability.
  • You support and train KAM’s to manage and forecast sales pipelines, monthly demand forecasting, ensuring on-time delivery and exceeding customer expectations.
  • You support and train KAM’s to realize new listing and distribution, managing phase-in and phase-out of products in line with the overall marketing plan in cooperation with product, business and marketing management.
  • You control and support KAM’s to secure all financial agreements are met and payment is in line with agreed payment terms.
  • You support the e-commerce team and IKAM with the channel specific requirements.
  • You collaborate and control with internal teams (marketing, product and business management) to create effective sales presentations, category management and good in-store product presentation, on-line presence and activation and other marketing initiatives.
  • You investigate sales key performance indicators and performance and define/execute mitigating actions in case key accounts deviate from plan.
  • You stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments.

Education And Related Experience
  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within consumer electronics industry.
  • Proven track record of commercial policies, sales management and managing key accounts.
  • E-commerce knowledge of KA requirements, activation and marketing.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Deep understanding of the Audio & Headphones market and its dynamics (a plus).
  • Native speaker and communications skills (English)
  • Good knowledge of Business parameters to be influenced by distribution and forecast.
  • Capable of installing, motivating and inspiring a team to obtain/improve the Quality KPI’s.
