Amsterdam, 25th March, 2013 – TP Vision announces that its Philips DesignLine Edge TV has won a ‘red dot’ for its outstanding design. The jury of the ‘red dot award: product design’ 2013 competition was inspired by the set’s minimalistic, clutter-free front made out of one piece of glass. The pearl white, slim and translucent frame gives the TV an astonishing sense of lightness. The touch controls are unobtrusively integrated into the TV’s glass front to further enhance its compelling appearance. This TV set is the predecessor of the recently launched DesignLine 2013.
Matching contemporary living spaces
The subtle design is perfectly complemented by Ambilight Spectra 2, which both intensifies the viewing experience and provides captivating light effects in the living room. Ambilight projects glowing light onto the wall behind the TV and automatically adjusts the colour and brightness of the light to match the TV picture.
