Amsterdam, 11th December, 2012 – Today, TP Vision announced that the Philips 47PFL6907 Smart LED TV was awarded the ‘iF product design award 2013’. This award is one of the most prestigious awards for innovative product design and is sponsored by International Forum Design GmbH, Hanover (Germany).

Purist and timeless looks

The Philips 47PFL6907’s purist design, complemented by the wall-colour adaptive Ambilight fits well into modern, contemporary homes. The display glass is framed with a very slim brushed aluminium frame, with a brushed metallic lower detail displaying the distinctive Philips style. The open chrome, steel swivel stand matches the TV’s material palette and enhances the TVs’ ‘interior fit’ credentials.

Blending design with usability and performance

Furnished with a broad selection of interface options and the latest Smart TV features, the 47PFL6907 provides an excellent entertainment experience. The 119cm (47’’) TV is compatible with Philips’ MyRemote App for Android and iOS mobile devices. It offers features such as easy text entry,  program control and the option to push pictures, videos or music to the TV from mobile touch screen devices. Wi-Fi Smart Screen further expands the interplay between TV and tablets by allowing users to pull digital TV towards the mobile device using just a finger swipe. High performance motion and picture enhancements deliver great picture quality in both 2D and 3D.
