TP Vision Europe B.V., a dedicated company in the world of visual digital entertainment, fully committed to selling & marketing PHILIPS TV and Audio brand, is looking for a motivated and experienced candidate to join our Shared Service Center team in Prague.

We particularly value innovation, agility, execution and accountability and hence we are looking for a candidate who can easily identify with these characteristics and as the Senior /Statutory and Tax compliance Controller will be responsible for compliance of TP Vision entities in line with local regulations/law, takes the lead in organizing all the parties in order to deliver the requested outputs.

  • Statutory and fiscal compliance for 4-5 European entities, in cooperation with accounting department and the external consultants
  • Statutory reporting (bank questionnaires and statistics)
  • Corporate income tax: maintain payment calendar, prepare requests for payments for Treasury team, calculate the monthly corporate income tax provision, reconcile corporate income tax accounts
  • First contact point for local audit: statutory, taxes, and any other compliance audits
  • Back up some members of the team if needed
  • Perform other duties as requested by the department lead

Education And Related Experience
  • Min. 3-5 years relevant previous job experience in accounting/audit/tax, Big 4 experience is a plus
  • Good understanding of accounting and direct/indirect tax and tax compliance
  • Knowledge/past experience with VAT and/or CIT compliance of other EU countries is a plus
  • Good understanding of F&A processes to handle methodologies and standard and non-standard situations
  • Excel knowledge, SAP is an advantage
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent communication with internal/external functions
  • Good analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proactive behaviour in order to reach commitments
  • Structured approach, sense of organization
