Scope

The Solution Manager LED northern Europe is responsible for timely and high-quality end to end product and application support for LED Display Solutions.

Main application support related responsibilities are specialist knowledge in the applications of LED Display Solutions products including configuration of walls, interfaces, devices and software specific to this business. Related responsibilities are support to customers in the field using our products as well as performing fast feedback towards product development & Service.

Responsibility
  • Specifying custom LED Display Solutions based on customer requirements. Assist in designing new or adapting existing solutions to customer specific applications.
  • Presales support for the PPDS EMEA Sales team towards customer inquiries.
  • Onsite support with customer sign-off when installing custom build LED Display Solutions.
  • Provide 2nd level field support to B2B customers in the case of technical queries or issues
  • Review and provide input towards product CRS
  • Arrange trials, product evaluation, exhibitions and training for internal as well as external people
  • Organize and solve field complaints, rework actions in cooperation with the Service dept.
  • Keep track of demo equipment
  • Monitor and verify hardware/software improvements with Product Management and communicate towards customers
  • Field status reporting on regular base
  • Organize internal stock and stock for exhibitions
  • Being involved in testing of new equipment

Education And Related Experience
  • Technical education with about 3-5 years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of the LED Display Solutions and LED panel calibration is a must
  • Knowledge of Novastar hard- and software is a must
  • Knowledge of the current Signage display and calibration of videowall systems is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of electronics, basic software & IT (TCP/IP)
  • Knowledge of HTML and web support tools as well as IP network.
  • Familiar with software/ hardware applications testing and debugging
  • Good developed communication skills (English, both verbal and written, other language support is an advantage).
  • Customer oriented. Team player. Hands-on mentality
  • A result driven, proactive approach
  • Willingness to travel regularly within EMEA (occasional worldwide)
  • Driving license required
