Purpose Of The Position

Based in Czech Republic, Prague TP Vision office, the Senior Key Account Manager CEE will be responsible for newly established business of Philips Audio/Video products sales and distribution in the CEE region (Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Montenegro and Baltic countries). The main goal of the role is to manage Audio/Video Philips business in CEE region and to achieve defined regional targets, managing direct customers within agreed distribution strategy, and their key indirect customers. Another purpose of this position is to find, together with TP Vision sales teams in the countries, synergies with the TV part of our business.

  • Being the primary commercial contact for the customer, ensures continuity of the relationship with the accounts, documenting agreements and interactions
  • Being the voice of customer inside TP Vision, mobilizing resources where needed to achieve plan/strengthen the relationship
  • Preparing the annual account plan for direct customers and being responsible for monthly demand forecasting on account/product level
  • Achieving listing and distribution, managing phase-in and phase-out of products in line with the overall marketing plan
  • Achieving good in-store presentation
  • Achieving on-line presence on the account’s webpage
  • Securing training time for store-staff, flyer space and demonstration share
  • Systematically analyzing and reporting of sales KPIs, expectations, market, competition and trends
  • Defining/executing mitigating actions in case of deviation from plan
  • Securing all financial agreements are met and payment is in line with agreed payment terms
  • Keeping constant track of local planning of retail marketing and marcoms activities on a monthly basis while monitoring ROI based on agreed KPIs
  • Planning MDF spending based on centrally defined targets and KPIs using central template
  • Reporting to central team on monthly activities results and ROI based on centrally developed template
  • Accountability for achieving sales volumes (sell-in), mix (high-end), price realization (negotiated price vs target), sell-out/inventory levels with the customer
  • Accountability for defining and implementing sales and distribution strategy within the national sales strategy for a segment of accounts
  • Accountability for defining, together with sales management, the account budget for tailor made actions for national/key accounts
  • Accountability for overseeing strategic customer management

Education And Related Experience
  • Bachelor level/ Master in Business Administration/Economics preferably
  • Seasoned experience (7+ years) and proven track record in Sales/ Key Account Management, working with distributors and resellers
  • Good knowledge of Business parameters to be influenced by quality (PFQ, CoNQ, AFRR, Claim distribution and forecast)
  • Knowledge of Consumer Electronics, ideally Audio / Video product ranges, system behavior of products / platforms and features
  • Experience with working within CEE region or with managing business across countries highly welcome
  • Good insight to integrate quality processes in business processes
  • Capablility to install, motivate and inspire to achieve/improve Quality KPI’s
  • Ablility to present for big group, senior audience, etc.
  • Excellent Czech/Slovak and English language skills (written and verbal), and ideally another language (from countries of responsibility)
  • Strong interpersonal skills, mature and well balanced personality
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, strategic thinking
  • Entrepreneurial drive, ambitious, pro-active, goal driven can-do personality
  • Creative, open minded, multicultural thinking
  • Willingness to travel across CEE region necessary (approx. 8 working days / month)
