Amsterdam (The Netherlands) – The Accessories Sales Support employee will serve in an essential support role for the European Sales and Marketing Director and other European Key Account Managers. He or she will act as the primary contact for resolving administrative queries from customers, for maintaining the key commercial tools within the business, drive new improvement processes to make the business more efficient and interface with other functions on behalf of sales to conclude open queries. The employee is essentially the glue that re-enforces all commercial touchpoints by helping with pricing and profitability, product linecharts, commercial commitments within Salesforce, reports, and new line set-up information. In addition, the person must be prepared to help with specific requests from the Sales and Marketing Director, be the primary liaison with our largest customer, and support other KAM requests for images, documentation or masterdata. This is a newly created role within a small but high-growth team and offers the successful candidate a great opportunity to be integral to future success, learn new skills and grow within the organisation. The candidate should be advanced in IT , particularly excel, have a good knowledge of Salesforce, and will based in the Amsterdam office. There may be some local travel from time to time, as well as to the UK - travel permitting.


Sales support:

  • Main daily liaison to the buying team of our largest account. Support in checking and signing off orders and monitoring through to order shipment. Shadowing and chasing through open projects.
  • Main contact point for KAMs to help customers with requests for marcom assets, documentation, new line forms and samples.
  • Proactive contact with other departments such as the order desk, finance and supply chain to ensure sales can progress smoothly.
  • Ad Hoc support to the Sales and Marketing Director such as events, tenders and quotation.

Commercial and business support :

  • Assistance in maintaining the pricing and profitability linechart file.
  • Ensuring all commercial pricing and profitability visibility is correctly maintained in the key monthly order file, and inputted into Salesforce in a timely manner.
  • Manages and tracks all salesforce activity for the team, such as pricing, commitments, new customer and tracking product set ups.
  • Act as the co-ordinator with other functions to ensure all customer claims are handled quickly and efficiently to conclusion.
  • Updates and deploys customer linecharts each month to KAMs - Works on improving customer support materials such as trade presentation materials.
  • Will work as liaison support from time to time with the marketing department to help progress open projects and activities.

Improvement Processes:

  • Help to identify any improvements that can be made to improve and automate processes.
  • General assistance to Sales and Marketing Director in building improvement plans.

Education And Related Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Administration, Marketing, Accounting or Finance required.
  • 2 – 5 years of experience supporting a sales process or other closely related function in a fast-paced, rapidly changing and dynamic corporate environment.
  • Or, keen and able graduate looking to make their stamp within a high growth business for one of the world’s biggest brands.
Preferred Skills

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Possess a high degree of initiative & drive to solve problems with limited direction.
  • Energetic and enthusiastic to make a difference.
  • Excellent listening, communication & follow up skills.
  • Strong ability to multitask and work under time pressure.
  • Highly proficient IT skills, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Salesforce and SAP a plus.
  • Preferably native Dutch speaker. Must be fluent in English also.
  • High level of confidence, friendliness and co-operative spirit in order to deal with demanding customers.
