Scope

The Sales Manager Nordics will oversee the sales operations for Philips TV and Soundbar products across the Nordic region. This role is pivotal in driving sales growth, enhancing customer relationships, and optimizing overall performance. The Sales Manager will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales plans, managing a team of four direct reports, and ensuring alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibility
  • Lead and manage a team of four direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Develop comprehensive Sales and Budget Plans that align with corporate objectives.
  • Set and ensure achievement of sales targets in line with the overall strategy. KPIs include sales volume, margin, stock management, and customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the management of key retail accounts in the Nordic region, ensuring robust customer relationships and satisfaction.
  • Create and implement promotional strategies that drive sales and brand awareness.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis to understand consumer behavior, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and other teams to optimize operations and customer service.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, analyzing results and adjusting strategies as needed.
  • Drive the online presence and activity for Philips products in the region.
  • Manage customer P&L effectively to maximize profitability.

Education And Related Experience
  • Master’s degree in Economics or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with a strong background in team management.
  • Proven track record in consumer electronics sales, preferably in the TV and audio sector.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis, with the ability to utilize data for strategic decision-making.
  • In-depth understanding of market scenarios, competitors, and trends in the consumer electronics industry.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Swedish and English.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Passion for audio-visual products and technology.
