The Sales Director is responsible for the total TV performance, including developing product/channel strategy, promotional plan, overall direction of trademarketing in collaboration with a team of key account managers. Also responsible for sales of Audio products into a channel as well as developing new TV channels, optimizing value for company and the accounts. Based on strong sales fundamentals building strong business planning, customer knowledge, building the brand, introducing and selling new innovative products, and driving point of sale presence and activity. Can drive our brand in UK and has ability to lead a small team.

Co-ordination with: Sales team, Marketing, Business Management, Supply chain/Order desk, F&A, Customers

Directly reporting to: Commercial Director TV & Audio Nordic, UK & Ireland


1. TV Strategy

  • Define range for customer channel
  • Co-ordinate forecasts
  • Provide market insights
  • Develop country promotional plan
  • Ensure delivery of TV targets

2. Country/ Channel/Customer management

  • Understand country/channel/customer market
  • Build knowledge of customer strategy
  • Create/execute joint customer business plans
  • Build strong customer relations

3. Business management

  • Ensure the realization of marketing and sales activities for the customers
  • Deliver accurate forecasts
  • Define customer’s requirements with regard to the assortment
  • Plan product training for the customers in cooperation with Trade Marketing and Product management
  • Solve administration matters (checking invoice, credit note, deliveries, etc.)
  • Find creative solutions to sales problems of individual customers and payments issues

4. Co-operation with Sales Team

  • Daily co-operation with all teams to deliver TV goals
  • Co-operation with Business management on goals and customer terms
  • Prep

5. Co-operation with Marketing Team

  • Monitor the market and the competition
  • Co-operation on developing Marketing plans
  • Give on a regular basis input for the benchmarking studies
  • Co-operation on merchandising
  • Cooperation with marketing in store activities (demo presentations, visibility, secondary replacement)

6. Cooperation with F&A team

  • Preparation of base data for accruals for customers
  • Customer bonuses calculation
  • Cooperation on finance analyses of customer´s trading
  • Management of customer credit notes and depts

7. Responsibility for turnover according budget

Education And Related Experience
  • 5 to 7 years of Sales experience
  • Consumer electronics background with sales fundamentals proven experience
  • Preference of Retail and Online market knowledge
  • Concept selling skills
  • Experience in/knowledge of market scenario’s and competitors in Consumer electronics ideally TV
  • Understanding of the relevant supply chain
  • Ability to manage customer P&L
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Ability to lead a small team
  • Strong team player
  • Strong user of excel
  • Ideally but not needed if you cover above points - university / bachelor degree
