About Philips Professional Displays Solutions

Philips Professional Display Solutions (Philips PDS) is a business unit which exclusively markets and sells Philips Professional TVs, Signage Solutions and Philips monitors worldwide. The Business unit is operated by TP Vision and MMD, two legal entities which are subsidiaries of TPV - the global number one manufacturer in vision innovation. The entities are established in 2009 through a brand lisence with Philips. By combining Philips brand promise with TPV's manufacturing expertise in displays, Philips PDS use a fast and focussed approach to bringing innovative products to market. They operate from its European Headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.



As EMEA Head of Operations you are managing the Order Desk and Supply Chain team. You will report to the Vice Presisent EMEA for Philips Professional Display Solutions. Your main work location will be Amsterdam.

  • Manage team of Order Desk and Supply Chain for Philips EMEA Professional Display Business Unit
  • Responsible demand planning, order processing and Supply Chain management
  • Prepare management reporting to assess process efficiency and cost controlling from Operations
  • Monitor Inventory level in EMEA region and efficient inventory management
  • Main Point of contact between Business, Factory and Warehouse activities
  • Help identifying improvement opportunities to keep healthy stock levels, improve product availability, reduce stock aging, and enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Structure a central Order Desk team and ensure constant back up operations to ensure business continuity

Preferred Skills
  • Master level education in Logistics/SCM
  • 10+ years of experience in a demand/supply planning function
  • Experience in consumer electronics or FMCG industry is a plus
  • Experience in managing a team in operations
  • Experience in establishing solid Supply Chain processes
  • Reliable, flexible and accurate
  • Solid communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and fast moving environment 
  • Hands on mentality and operational focus
  • Strong MS Excel skills and ERP experience are an advantage
  • Good team player
