PPDS goes global, therefore we need to act smarter and work together. Processes need to be set upped and branding needs to be aligned.

The role of Marketing Manager Events will focus on the structure and planning of global and regional events and customer touchpoints with consistent branding. It is about lead gen, ROI, and, most of all, enjoying the road to the activities and the activity by itself.

As our valued project owner within the Philips Professional Display marketing team (located in Amsterdam) you will be reporting to the Global Marketing Director and working closely together with the team members in business management, marketing, and product management.



  • Lead and organize (Inter)national Events
  • Being an end responsible for the PPDS Studio’s Showrooms of Philips Professional Displays
  • Set and communicate Customer Facing and Online Events Calendar
  • Ensure consistent event branding and communication
  • Prepare and monitor event budgets
  • Responsible for display content creation, testing and distribution for events


  • Lead marketing campaigns for events
  • Support the team to make digital campaigns and communication more successful
  • Drive the Lead generation initiatives to enhance the MQL to SQL process. Every event needs to have KPI’s for Sales.
  • Define KPI's for events separately and from a corporate point of view, including lead-gen


  • Project Planning, Monitoring, Execution
  • Stand design, coordination, internal alignment
  • Multiple Central Event Projects on Main Event, Industry Events, Kick-Offs, GPA, Tech Summit

Education And Related Experience
  • 10+ years of relevant work experience in event marketing or event management in B2B (e.g. in consumer electronics, business electronics, product marketing)
  • Managing parallel events, large or small, while being in control of key planning.
  • Ability to translate the marketing strategy into event success
  • Experience with realization in building larger stands and managing all involved parties, keeping timelines
  • Ability and willingness to work both on a strategic and on an operational level
  • Structured, accurate way of working, ability to switch fast, keep overview, and prioritize
  • Strong communication skills with fluency in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
Preferred Skills
  • Understand Customer journey, define touchpoints! Understand the technology, understand the customer use cases and develop the customer journey in live events, lead generation, demos and trainings
  • Planning of events is in your essence
  • Negotiation, speaker slots, fireplace conversations, organizing
  • Passionate about efficiency through technology and innovation
  • Able to act as Consultant, helping the business to make the right decisions
  • Open minded, flexible, creative, solution-driven personality
