TP Vision are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Key Account Manager to join the UK Team.

The Key Account Manager will be responsible for managing the Argos account for Philips TV and Audio products.

Scope

The Key Account Manager is responsible for managing the Argos account and taking it to the next level. The Key Account Manager is responsible for the sales of TV and Audio products and optimizing value for both company and the customer. This will be based on strong sales fundamentals, building strong customer intimacy, building the brand, introducing and selling new innovative products, and being the driving point of online presence and activity. It is important that the Key Account Manager can drive our brand in the UK.

Responsibility

1. Sales support activities 

  • Develop personal contacts with the customers. 
  • Ensure the realization of marketing and sales activities for the customers.
  • Define customer’s requirements with regard to the assortment.
  • Plan product training for the customers in cooperation with Trade Marketing and Product management.
  • Solve administration matters (checking invoice, credit note, deliveries, etc.).
  • Co-ordinate product distribution according to the customer’s requirements.
  • Monitor and control of large sales orders.
  • Find creative solutions to sales problems of individual customers and payments issues.

2. Preparation & responsibility of incentive offers

  • Prepare incentive offers and administer them in cooperation with marketing department.
  • Update the database of special products.
  • Control of pricing, terms and quantities.
  • Ensure the logistics of incentive offers (deals).
  • Control of realization of incentive offers.

3. Co-operation with Sales Team 

  • Daily co-operation with Sales Representatives / Merchandisers, Order Desk, Marketing. 
  • Co-operation with Business management about setting the conditions of sale.
  • Prepare background materials for sales negotiations.

4. Co-operation with Marketing Team

  • Co-operation on planning & realization of incentive offers.
  • Monitor the market and the competition.
  • Co-operation on developing.
  • Give on a regular basis input for the benchmarking studies.
  • Co-operation on merchandising. 
  • Cooperation with marketing in store activities (demo presentations, visibility, secondary replacement).

5. Cooperation with F&A team

  • Preparation of base data for accruals for customers.
  • Customer bonuses calculation.
  • Cooperation on finance analyses of customer´s trading.
  • Management of customer credit notes and depts.

6. Responsibility for turnover according budget

Education And Related Experience
  • Bachelor degree
  • Minimum of 3 years Sales experience
  • Working for Argos or collaborating with Argos is a big plus 
  • Online market knowledge
  • Very good Excell skills, spreadsheets minded
  • Passion for the products
  • Experience in/knowledge of market scenario’s and competitors in Consumer electronics
  • Understanding of the relevant supply chain
  • Ability to manage customer P&L
