As Key Account Manager, you are responsible for the results and growth targets of Philips professional display solutions with IT / AV System Integrators & Resellers in the UK with a focus on the Corporate and Education Market.
Your product portfolio focusses on Philips branded Professional Signage Displays, Interactive Touch displays, Indoor LED Displays and Commercial TVs.
You will be the interface between the resellers/system integrators and internal functions, such as Operations, Marketing, Service and the Channel Manager who is responsible for the distributors.
You will report to the EMEA Business Manager & UK Country Director and you will work remotely while travelling to your clients as well as work from home office. PPDS Headquarter is located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.


  • Responsible for the development and achievement of business targets through the indirect sales channel; with a focus on end-user pull and knowledge of the AV specifiers & consultants would be a distinct advantage
  • Focus on growing and developing existing clients, together with generating new business
  • Create and execute sales plan for the customer segment
  • Play a leading role in developing the Corporate & Education touch & LED business and responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients
  • Act as the key interface between the customer and all relevant internal functions
  • Preparation of contractual agreements and ensure that these are fully adhered to document partnership and business aspects with each customer, ensuring all activity is recorded accurately

Education And Related Experience
  • Solid (10+ years) experience working in the AV industry in B2B sales with Interactive Technology, LED, Pro TV and Digital Signage industry
  • Experience in driving and developing sales through the channel
  • Being proficient with target setting, negotiating contracts with dealers, resellers and end users
  • Know-how of govt/Corp Public tender process
  • Managing local marketing for better brand positioning and lead generation
  • Target oriented and result driven
  • • Ability to build strong working relationships, persuade, influence and negotiate effectively at all levels within and outside the organisation
  • Team player
  • Entrepreneurial Self Starter with attention to detail and the ability to prioritize
  • Ability to deal with technical product information
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to adapt procedures to a new and more effective way of working (in relation primarily to database management)
