1. Key Account Manager

  • Create and execute granular JBP with one of our key distribution partners in their UK and European sales offices in line with TPV commercial and strategic targets
  • Manage P&L for your account to ensure topline and bottom line targets are met and exceeded
  • Responsible for developing and owning the multi-level relationships with Category Managers, Channel Managers, Product managers and all other relevant stakeholders
  • Day to day contact point for the customer’s UK Head office, as well as with key Country managers across Europe, (including France, Iberia, Dach, BNL, Ireland & Nordics)
  • Ensuring maximum brand PR, training, samples, and other support materials are made available to all relevant stakeholders around the Philips accessories portfolio
  • Drive and attend tri-partite discussions with Key retail partners across the Distributor’s estate and help with tenders and other opportunities
  • Pro-actively seek inclusion in retailer deals such as black Friday and/or react quickly to close down and win any other ad-hoc promotional opportunities that are presented
  • Develop working relationships with non-retail stakeholders to capitalize on any opportunities in B2B, L&I & public sector that are within their enterprise scope
  • Collect and Analyse all sell out data to ensure easy distribution gaps are closed down and best practice is shared among the sales offices. Drive Planogram and Category Management approach to selling where possible
  • Run QBRMs and organise Top to Tops with relevant Commercial managers to include performance reviews, future NPD and Promotional Activity
  • General administration duties to facilitate the day to day running of the account including but not limited to: co-ordination with Order desk, supply chain and credit control teams to facilitate timely order and delivery flows, new line listing support, deployment of commercial Line charts, price management, ad-hoc marketing and event activities, supporting the deployment of product assets, ensuring on-line product visibility by territory and product lifecycle management at account level

2. Product and Marketing Assistant

  • Analyse market data and maintain benchmarking reports to help drive regional accessories category strategy across DECT, AV, Mobile and PC speakers
  • Assume expertise across the Mobile Accessories, AV Accessories, DECT and PC speakers categories. Understand, inform and suggest product modifications, introductions and innovations based on market SWOT analysis
  • Scope out adjacencies where our brand can add value and explore new category opportunities for Accessories
  • Activate and promote NPD in line with TP Vision launch windows . Pro-actively drive bespoke product opportunities such as retail exclusives.

3. Account Manager of selected other customers

  • Support the European Sales & Marketing Director, Accessories with other new business or existing opportunities

Preferred Skills
  • Commercial background in the CE industry is preferred
  • Working knowledge of dealing with major Distributors from vendor side is a bonus
  • Experience of business development and cultivating relationships

  • Able to manage multi-level relationships
  • Strong commercial and analytical ability required to manage both the operational and strategic agenda
