Purpose Of The Position

As our Key Account Manager E-tail for DACH you will focus on driving full potential via e-commerce accounts, especially Amazon, for our Philips Consumer TV and Soundbar product line-up. You will be part of the DACH Sales Team with its office based in Hamburg. Also, you will be working in close collaboration with the wider Sales team and Marketing.

Responsibility
  • Co-design, execute and implement Sales strategy for TV & Audio products for e-tail channels
  • Quantity planning and tracking via the account plans
  • Control of relevant key accounts with regards to sales and earnings
  • Identify and target new business
  • Preparation, coordination, and implementation of all relevant sales support / online communication content in close coordination with Marketing
  • Definition and implementation of sales measures (Dashboard, KPI ‘s and agreements with customers) and follow up to support goal achievement
  • Negotiations on nationwide advertising approaches (e.g. Cyber Monday, Black Friday) including budget control
  • Ongoing monitoring of changes in products, market trends, trade structure and sales channel/client in order to estimate, evaluate and use the sales opportunities
  • Accountable for achieving sales volumes (sell in), mix, price realization (negotiated price vs targets), sell-out/inventory levels with the customer
  • Systematically analysing and reporting of sales KPI’s, expectations, market, competition, and trends
  • Defines/executes mitigating actions in case of deviation from plan

Preferred Skills
  • 2-4 years of experience in a Key Account Manager / Sales environment position
  • Amazon e-tail/ on-line channel experience and related deep insights is a key requirement
  • Experience with other big on-line channels/accounts like Otto, MediaMarkt is a plus
  • Data driven decision maker with technical understanding, analytical and conceptual skills
  • Strong and confident communicator with negotiation skills
  • Natural networker with sales drive
  • A true team player
  • Experienced user of Microsoft Office package (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Pro-active, independent, and structured way of working
  • Flexibility to travel (20%)
  • Fluency in German and proficiency in English (written and spoken)
