IKAM is responsible to maximize the sales of Philips accessories and DECT phones in BNL/ DACH/ Nordics as key priority with the existing client base. The IKAM will need to : Assess the current distribution in the cluster for all accessories categories, identify areas for improvement & growth and work with the business partners to execute at a granular level to achieve budgets. Second, assess new business opportunities across the region and identify new partners that can deliver this new business plan and where necessary establish new connections and support new customer creation.


Assortment Selection

  • GAP and SWOT analysis - market, retailer, distributor
  • Make listing recommendations – maximum category representation in every country
  • Control the product assortment for the customers

Sales activities

  • Develop deep relationships with the customers
  • Create and execute granular JBPs in line with TPV commercial and strategic targets
  • Manage P&L for accounts to ensure topline and bottom line is maximised
  • Day to day contact point with the key customers in region, (DACH, BNL, NORDIC)
  • Drive and attend tri-partite discussions with Key retail partners across the territory to ensure Philips accessories is central to all important tenders, selections and opportunities
  • Pro-actively seek inclusion in retailer deals and/or react quickly to close down and win any other ad-hoc promotional opportunities that are presented
  • Develop working relationships with non-retail stakeholders to capitalize on any opportunities in B2B & public sector that are within their enterprise scope
  • Collect and Analyse sell out data to ensure easy distribution gaps are closed down & optimised. Drive Planogram and Cat Man approach to selling where possible
  • Run QBRMs and organise Top to Tops with relevant Commercial managers to include performance reviews, future NPD and Promotional Activity
  • General administration duties to facilitate the day to day running of the account including but not limited to: co-ordination with Order desk, supply chain and credit control teams to facilitate timely order and delivery flows, New line listing support, deployment of commercial Linecharts, price management, ad-hoc marketing and event activities, supporting the deployment of product assets, ensuring on-line product visibility by territory and product lifecycle management at account level
  • Solve any administration matters (invoice queries, delivery issues, etc.)
  • Co-ordinate product distribution according to the customer’s requirements

Co-operation with Marketing

  • Co-operation on planning & realization of offers
  • Benchmark the market and the competition
  • Develop credible marketing plans to support the budget

Education And Related Experience
  • University / bachelor degree
  • Based in the Netherlands or Germany
  • Excellent communicator and fluent English speaker. Language proficiency in Dutch & / or German a plus
  • 3 to 7 years of Sales experience working with a CE/ Accessories brand; and/or experience working as a buyer in prominent NL/DACH retail; and/or with experience working for distributors
  • Consumer electronics background a plus, with sales & business development fundamentals proven experience. Preferably with deep experience of batteries, accessories and / or DECT phones
  • Deep knowledge of the BNL/DACH retail and distribution landscape, particularly with DIY, CE and FMCG, a major plus
  • Experience in/knowledge of market scenario’s and competitors in Consumer electronics – especially accessories
  • Understanding of the relevant FOB business model and supply chain an advantage
  • Ability to manage the customer P&L • Home Based, so must be able to work autonomously
  • Strong connection network within the NL and/or DACH market a plus
