As intern you will be given the opportunity to take ownership of dedicated tasks, given room for own initiative as well as given the required support in your development.  

You will be part of the Digital Customer Experience team and the wider Consumer Care domain.  The team covers the regions Europe, Northern & Latin America, Asian Pacific, Middle East & Africa.

The Digital Customer Experience team is responsible for the structure, functionality and continuous improvement of the consumer support websites (portals) for AOC and Philips TV & Sound products as well as for Philips Monitors. 

The consumer portal provides information and services for our consumers across Europe, enabling them to find the answers and services they are looking for. 

In this internship you are responsible for supporting the analysis, mapping and setting up the development of improvements necessary for UI and UX on our consumer portal.  The intern knows how to translate findings into new developments and has knowledge of the UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience).     

  • Analysing the current customer journey, including UI/UX, on our consumer portal
  • Mapping and setting up new improvement suggestions
  • Translating improvements into requests to our Innovations team and IT team
  • Verifying developments with user tests before and after implementation
  • Contributing to the current improvement plans for our consumer portal

Education And Related Experience
  • A student working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in e.g. Communication and Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, User Experience Design
  • Knowledge of the Online/Digital trends and developments in E-Commerce and Customer Service (i.e. digital self-service, chat bots, A.I.)
  • Knowledge of Customer Journey, UI/UX topics
  • Strong analytical skills
  • A Self-starter, who dares to voice and follow up own ideas
  • For this internship we are looking for candidates already living in the Netherlands.
