Based in Prague, the Indirect Tax Specialist will join the Indirect Tax Team. In this position, you will be responsible for indirect tax compliance in various jurisdictions and you will be engaged in various initiatives aimed at enhancing and improving efficiency and effectiveness of indirect tax processes. Utilizing existing technology while also identifying and implementing new tax technology solutions when relevant. You will report to Group Indirect Tax Manager based in Amsterdam.

• Responsible for compiling and filing of various indirect tax declarations in multiple jurisdictions
• Responsible for other regulatory reporting such as plastic packaging tax and extended producer responsibility
• Contributing to process and systems improvements
• Establishing and maintaining a collaborative relationship with internal business stakeholders
• Track legislation changes and assess potential impact on the business
• Point of contact for local tax authorities and external indirect tax advisors

• University degree in Finance or /with specialization in Taxes
• Demonstrated relevant experience in Indirect Taxes & Tax Technology between 3-5 years
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP is an advantage) and of automated VAT Reporting Solutions and MS Office (Excel)
• Ability to prioritize and managing multiple tasks
• Fluent in English
• Structured approach, problem solving mindset
• Great communication skills, proactive behavior
• Strong team player with the ability of working independently
