Purpose Of The Position

As IKAM - Retail for Professional Display Solutions your product portfolio includes Philips Professional TV, LED, Collaboration and Digital Signage products.
You will be responsible for direct End Customer acquisition on an international level inside the Retail vertical in order to generate Leads related to Digital Signage equipment in POS. Your main focus will be to establish and maintain commercial relationships with end customers and aligning internal functions (Operations, Finance, Product management, Business management and Marketing) to facilitate global project fulfillment and maximize sales, volumes and revenues and to ensure the right organization, resources and structure is in place for delivering business objectives.
You will develop and drive credibility and long term relationships with existing and newly generated customers/business.
Your experience to move lines of decisions together with entrepreneurship and creativity to get organizations moving into a defined objectives will be key success factors in this position.
This is a remote role, therefore your home base can be anywhere in Europe in or close to one of Europe's major cities/close to an international airport. You will be reporting to the Vice President EMEA.

  • Your primary focus will be direct end customer acquisition into the Retail Vertical
  • Build up and maintain an International Go To Market channel via our primary system integrators specialized in Digital Signage integration
  • Align with support functions (Operations, Finance, Product management, Business management and Marketing) globally in order to maximize sales, volumes and revenues and to ensure the right organization and structure is in place to support International Project roll out
  • Develop and drive credibility and long term relationship with existing clients / customers in the assigned area as well as generate new business, to fulfill long-term objectives
  • Actively seek optimization in structures, processes and resources, leading to focus on the customer and the consumer
  • Take an active role to maximize the overall company results (and not just the local market
  • Establish strong relays locally in the different countries to support International customer
  • Prepare contractual agreements and ensure that these are fully adhered to Document partnership and business aspects with each customer, ensure all activity is recorded accurately in CRM database (Salesforce)
  • Development and achievement of business targets through the indirect sales channel (distributors, system integrators)
  • Play a leading role in business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients

Education And Related Experience

IKAM is a senior commercial role within PPDS organization and as such our new colleague needs to come with solid commercial background and experience in coordinating cross functional team to achieve business goals.

Other requirements:

  • Experience in B2B sales with strong knowledge in Digital Signage solutions for Retail customers
  • Experience in driving and developing sales through the channel (e.g. system integrators, software partners)
  • Experience in products and solutions around Professional TV , LED, Collaboration and Digital Signage products
  • Fluency in English is a must have
  • Proficient with target setting, negotiating contracts with distributors, dealers, end users
  • Ability to manage local marketing for better brand positioning and lead generation
  • Target oriented and result driven personality
  • True team player personality with a positive attitude
