About MMD

MMD is a wholly-owned company by TPV, established in 2009 through a brand license agreement with Philips. MMD exclusively markets and sells Philips-branded LCD displays worldwide. Taking advantage of Philips brand image and TPV’s manufacturing expertise, MMD uses a fast and focused approach to bring innovative products to consumers. MMD serves worldwide markets from major regional offices including Amsterdam, Shanghai, Singapore, São Paulo and Fremont (EPI). Purpose Of The Position

As HR intern you will be given the opportunity to take ownership of dedicated tasks, given room for own initiative as well as given the required support in your development. You will gain experience with and understanding of system/data/full overview of HR information/HR analysis/HR process. You will be part of the HR Compensation & Benefit team, reporting to the Compensation & Benefits Manager and also work with the wider European HR team.


HR System and Database:
Maintenance of existing HR system and database with the below:

  • Making small adjustments to the system/database
  • Fixing mistakes and system error
  • Managing user access
  • Generating automatic reports from the system
  • Collecting and checking HR data, upload the data in the database
  • Making exports from the database and do the ad hoc check
  • Helpdesk

Compensation support:

  • Checking compensation data in excel
  • Making (pivot) tables in excel
  • Preparing tables in PPT/Word


  • Supporting on ad hoc HR admin requests
  • Special Requests / Mini-projects

  • Fulltime internship position with office in Amsterdam (next to Amstel station)/home working facilitation

  • Monthly internship allowance of 400-550 euro

Education And Related Experience
  • Working towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Statistics or another data related study
  • Currently studying and/or living in The Netherlands / availability asap and for a minimum of 4 months
  • HR or data/system analysis experience gained from a previous internship, job or extracurricular or volunteer activities

Preferred Skills
  • Very good Excel skill and PPT skill is a must
  • Good with data and systems; love to play with data, do the check and get insight out of it, strong affinity with figures and analysis
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • An organized, eye for detail personality
  • An eager, motivated and pro-active attitude
