  • Manage team of Order Desk and Supply Chain for Philips EMEA Professional Display Business Unit
  • Responsible demand planning, order processing and Supply Chain management
  • Prepare management reporting to assess process efficiency and cost controlling from Operations
  • Monitor Inventory level in EMEA region and efficient inventory management
  • Main Point of contact between Business, Factory and Warehouse activities
  • Help identifying improvement opportunities to keep healthy stock levels, improve product availability, reduce stock aging, and enhance forecast accuracy.
  • Structure a central Order Desk team and ensure constant back up operations to ensure business continuity
Purpose Of The Position

As Head of Operations, you will manage, motivate and drive a team of approx. 10 people ( 3 Demand Planners, 6 Order fulfilment including 1 supervisor and 1 Software operations specialist) across our 2 offices in Amsterdam and Prague to achieve best in class customer support from efficient end to end logistics and highly engaged order fulfilment team connected to the market. Next to daily activities related to the role, this position will play a central role in project implementations in alignment with company’s long term strategy across the entire product portfolio Philips Professional Tv's, LED, Interactive and Digital Signage products.

Your main focus will be to ensure smoothest operations, reduce disruptions connected to supply chain and ensure engagement with other functions (finance, Sales, consumer care, HR, Production and Warehouse)  in order to maximize sales, and to ensure the right organization, resources and structure.

You will be reporting to the Vice President EMEA and be part of the EMEA Management team

Education And Related Experience
  • Master level education in Logistics/SCM
  • 10+ years experience in a demand/supply planning function.
  • Project management skills
  • Experience in consumer electronics is a plus
  • Reliable and accurate
  • Solid communication skills
  • Able to work in an international and fast moving environment
  • Hands on mentality and operational focus
  • Strong MS Excel skills and ERP experience an advantage
  • Good team player
  • Can do mentality
