This role is within the team of Digital Customer Experience Europe & Americas and Knowledge Management Europe and is for all our products at TPV (TV, AVA, Monitors, Professional Displays and Signage). The operates from various locations globally and currently has 7 team members. The manager is located in our Amsterdam office (The Netherlands).

In this team the Digital Customer Experience part focusses on development and management of the support website for TV, Sound, Monitors and IT Accessories products. To provide our consumers one central place for their questions and service options.

The Knowledge Management part focusses on the development, creation and management of the Knowledge Content that is needed on the support website to provide answers to the customer’s questions. Furthermore, this part of the team provides content to our Consumer Care teams for their daily operations with our consumers.

In this role the Global Editor is focused on the creation, development and management of the Knowledge content in quality and quantity to provide all consumers with the answers they might be looking for. This is done based on, new product releases, feedback from the Consumer Care teams, the Digital Customer Experience team and based on data that indicate where Knowledge content needs to be created or adjusted.

The Editor will be an important driver behind the success of self-service content on our support website and continuously look for opportunities to improve the quality and quantity of the knowledge content. In this role you will be working closely with the manager of the team and the Digital Content Manager.

  • Create new consumer friendly and easy to find Knowledge content for online (including bots) and offline usage that meets the needs of our consumers, with combinations of words and visuals
  • Develop and manage existing Knowledge content and connects the right key words, synonyms and other tags for best matching search results
  • Translate complex internal product information into simple to understand, polished and engaging content
  • Handling the creation, development and management of the content within the set timelines and targets (NPS, User Goal Completion Rate, deflection and First Contact Resolution)
  • Translate product experience into Knowledge content by testing products themselves
  • Manages the thin line between display content publicly or keep it for internal use only 
  • Manages the translation of feedback into new improvements or creations
  • Manages with your colleagues the Knowledge structure, consistency, databases and other systems with great accuracy and care
  • Analyses reports on global level and delivers actionable input

Education And Related Experience
  • Bachelor level education, or has reached this level through comparable training or experience
  • Experience within Content creation;
  • article writing
  • setting up How-to scenarios
  • dialogue and decision trees
  • Strong communicator and able to translate technical language into consumer-friendly language -
  • Strong (project) management skills with focus on customer journey/ consumer experience -
  • Technical background in consumer electronics is a pré
  • Knowledge of CRM tooling, Salesforce Service cloud knowledge is a pré
  • Out of the box thinker
  • Fluent English (verbal and written)
