As a Demand Planner within TP Vision, you are responsible for a perfect demand plan for your scope (product portfolio/sales organisation) from phase in till phase out. Your role and responsibilities include:

Local scope (UK sales area)

  • Maintain the local demand plan together with business management and SCM
  • Drive local underpinning of agreed demand plan on account level
  • Monitor sales progress, sell out and stock in trade and pro-actively flag potential issues
  • Monitor supply status and align with allocation planners on detailed timing of supplies
  • Coordinate with the order fullfilment team in Prague the handling of urgent cases and exceptions to maximize customer satisfaction
  • Analyze background information to support sales forecasting; work with local sales and account management, marketing and product management to integrate market intelligence (market outlook, trends, margin development) into the forecast, while taking supply lead times and constraints inherent to the business into account.

Local scope (UK sales area)

  • Control the weekly S&OP process as part of the European demand control team
  • Work with Supply team in Taiwan, China and Poland to optimize the goods movement from Asia to Europe. Work out scenario’s in case of disruptions in the supply chain
  • Lead or contribute to demand / supply chain optimization initiatives/projects (e.g. reduce aging stock, and enhance forecast accuracy, standardisation of ways of working)

Education And Related Experience
  • Bachelor or Master level education in Logistics or Supply Chain Management, or has reached this level through comparable training or experience
  • 4-8 years relevant work experience in supply chain
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • SAP experience
  • Effective and friendly assertive communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Hands on mentality and operational focus
  • Good team player
  • Realiable and accurate
