We are in search of an ambitious, self-starting HR professional with solid experience and interest in all related Compensation and Benefits topics and who is keen to be the tactical link between our Headquarter in Taipei and the operational execution of key HR Remuneration and Benefits policies and arrangements in Europe.

As our Compensation and Benefits Specialist for Europe you will cover the three legal entities falling under TPV Technology in Europe; TP Vision, MMD and AOC. You will be overseeing, managing and administering our employees’ rewards and benefits. In this unique position, you will be our market expert when it comes to creating, managing and bench marking international conditions and salary levels.   

The Compensation and Benefits Specialist role is positioned as an HR-specialist role within our European HR team to help drive change and improvements across our global portfolio of reward programs. However, as we are a small team you will also have the opportunity to get involved in projects or take initiative in other areas across the HR function. You will report to the HR Director Europe 

  • Ensuring that compensation practices including pensions/insurances are compliant to current legislation across countries in Europe 
  • Providing support and recommendations to the business and HR partners on salary reviews, promotional proposals, job offers, etc. to ensure internal alignment whilst remaining competitive to the external market 
  • Conducting research and analysis and providing recommendations for various (future) reward projects and programs  
  • Owning the analysis, administration, and participation of annual compensation and benefits market data reviews 
  • Deploying effective communication strategies and success metrics
  • Defining job content and market rates (descriptions, grading, competences, evaluations, classifications, market surveys, etc.
  • Executing periodic audits and delivering reports to management 
  • Supporting mobility cases like cross border work 
  • Providing support for our internal salary planning and annual bonus processes
  • Updating internal and external documentation and policies as required
  • Supporting the HR Operations Team with the implementation of any new benefits and changes to current benefit programs
  • Lead and participate in relevant project initiatives

Preferred Skills
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in HR, (Labor) Law, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or Business preferred  
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience working in HR ideally on European compensation and benefits programs
  • Project management experience in a driving/leading role 
  • Highly proficient working with large data sets, providing insight into conclusions and accurate reports
  • Experience in using HRIS systems
  • Expert user of Excel
  • Fluency in Dutch and English – additional languages are a plus 
  • Effective and efficient communication with various stakeholders globally 
  • Positive, flexible, self-driven and fast learning team player 
  • Track record in identifying issues and taking ownership in overcoming obstacles and introducing solutions 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/responsibilities/projects at the same time
  • Ability to dive into detail whilst keeping in mind the big picture
