Scope
  • Manage all business management activities for assigned market(s)
  • BM manager for assigned market(s)
  • Manage price realization and volumes
  • Input on P&L discussions
  • Allocation across customers
Responsibility
  • Responsible for all business activities for the selected product portfolio within his/her country or cluster.
  • Focusing on business activities include product range, build up and logic from commercial point of view, product lifecycle management, pricing and margin management for the selected geographical area and recommendation on channel management strategy. Ownership and accountability differ and it is dependent on seniority.
  • Responsible to identify additional opportunities within the current branded portfolio.
  • The linking pin between sales (country or region) and product creation groups.

Education And Related Experience
  • At least 7 years working within the AV industry, and directly on the LED products
  • Experience and technical skill in LED
  • Fluency in France and English
  • Good knowledge of local market.
Preferred Skills
  • Ability to run a P&L.
  • Identify and implement best product line up to fit the market
  • Define and implement channelization, distribution and promotional strategy together with sales 
  • Translate business plans to channels and customer plans
  • Manage & maximize price realization per channel, customer and product based on regional guidelines
  • Analyse market and competition (be a market expert) to identify & capture growth opportunities, identify risks & define mitigation actions
  • Manage Stock in Trade and identify actions to increase sell through
  • Identify and implement promotions, bundles and other activities to reach and exceed volume, mix and market share objectives
  • Provide local input for benchmarking
  • Support sales in customer meetings and range presentations

Problem Solving

  • Has to set up product launch programs for new products.
  • Manages the chosen distribution and channel mix for the assigned products.
  • Creates & implements promotional activities
  • Support to sales at national key accounts & country sales director.

Accountability

  • Able to make pricing decisions for country or cluster.
  • Decide on product range for market or cluster.
  • Decide product allocation on customer level.
  • Implementation of business management strategy within country or cluster.
