TP Vision has a strong ambition to further grow and expand its business. To support this ambition, we are hiring a Business Development Leader who will be at the forefront of this journey. This new role aims to define new go to market models, specific new brand- and product development as well as setting up a new (virtual) organization/team, both internally and outside the TP Vision Europe organization.

About TPV Technology

TPV Technology is an internationally-renowned PC monitor, TV and Digital Signage Displays manufacturer. TPV serves as an original design manufacturer for some of the best-known TV , PC and Digital Signage Displays brands in the industry and distributes its products worldwide under its own brands AOC and Envision. In addition, the company designs, produces and sells Philips-branded monitors, TV's and AVA products, Digital Signage Displays and mobile phones through a license agreement with Philips via its subsidiaries TP Vision and MMD. As an example, the company brings high-quality TV sets to the market: smart and easy to use with sophisticated styling. Scope

As the Business Development Leader, you are responsible to build a new business line in the B2C market from inception to completion. This requires an innovative and creative approach in addition to specific skills sets which will enhance the ambitious TP Vision and TPV team. Building (virtual) project teams with TPV internal and external stakeholders and seeking collaboration are key to make this journey successful. The Business Development Leader reports to the CMO of TP Vision Europe. Preferred location: Amsterdam (The Netherlands)

Responsibility
  • Deliver and maintain business plan; profitable within 2 years.
  • Primary focus is Europe; potentially secondary roll out America’s at later stage.
  • Develop go to market strategies and assess all appropriate business models.
  • Manage the project plan, based on the project charter and assignment business case.
  • Build project team, with TPV internal and external stakeholders.
  • Work out product roadmap; logical fit between consumer categories.
  • Explore and define further community applications / use cases with partners.
  • Orchestrate between stakeholders across TPV. Regional and Global Product Management, R&D, Design, Consumer Marketing, Sales, Business Management and regions to bring the best ideas to life.

Deliver on key milestones:

  • Consumer research on target consumer insight and need over selected portfolio (or open), product portfolio definition.
  • Brand positioning: messaging, look & feel, brand ID.
  • Product propositions definition, based on clear insights.
  • Marketing plan & activities: digital marketing, social media, e-commerce, campaign, APPS development, website...and more.
  • E-.com development – brief and coordinate (web, store, back office).
  • App development – brief and coordinate app development (community, UX, e-.com).

Education And Related Experience
  • Master level education in Business Administration/Marketing/Business.
  • Skilled in consumer marketing / consumer A-brands with a minimum of 5 years proven track record in the retail market.
  • A solid affinity with consumers and understanding of the latest consumer electronic products/trends.
  • Creative, curious and analytical, translates business/consumer data into insights.
  • Markets new ideas internally and evolves them based on feedback.
  • Excellent command of English language (written and verbal).
  • Track record in European market(s); other regions is a pre.
  • Hands on; can do mentality.
  • Social; Easy to make contacts and mobilize people from diverse backgrounds.
