The upcoming promotion is built around the dramatic, much acclaimed ‘Afterglow’ skiing film. The movie has won iF3’s coveted Best Cinematography Award and the Best Short Movie Award even before its premiere scheduled for Oct. 19th. The international freeski film festival iF3 is one of the most important film festivals for winter adventure movie productions.
Amsterdam, September 5th, 2014 – Today, TP Vision and TIM announced a partnership to bring Live TIM Blue Box* services into Philips Smart TVs without the need for a set top box in Brazil.
Thanks to a jointly developed app, owners of a Philips Smart TV will get easy access to Live TIM Blue Box services via TIM’s fiber internet connection. The service offering includes content recommendation, EPG, free to air channels, OTT apps and, in the near future, OTT Pay TV linear channels. In addition, as a first in Brazil, the app will allow OTT Pay TV linear channels to be watched on Philips TVs without the need for a set top box. The Live TIM Blue Box app will be compatible to all 2014 Philips Smart TV models sold in Brazil.

The new Philips 7900, Philips 8900 and Philips 9100 TVs will be available during the third quarter in Europe and Russia.

They will be available during the third quarter of 2014 in Europe and Russia.
